Warhammer 40k Tournament

Where: St. Charles Fantasy Shop
When: Saturday July 31st at 11:00
Points needed: 1500 Points ***Plus a 200 point unit that take up one slot on the force org chart*** So a total of 1700 points
Cost: $10 (Fantasy Shop will provide additional prize support)

This single 200 point unit will be used in each game for bonus points and mission specific tasks.

Sign up starts at 11:00
We will be judging painting from 11:15 to 11:45
First Round will start at 12:00 ***Each ROund will last 2 hours with one break after Game 1

Prizes:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Favorite Oppenent (ties broken using total points earned)
Favorite Painted Army (voted on by all contestants, tie is broken by me)

Guys we had 18 out for our last event and it was a blast with the winner taking home $80 bucks in store credit.

After having the opportunity to play at Ard Boyz this past weekend I can truly say that a schedule is just as important as the event itself. So i hope everyone is geared up to play on the 31st. I have had a lot of folks email me to sign up and we still have a lot of spots left.

The Schedule will be as follows:
Sign in and Painting Contest*: 11:00 to 11:15
Painting Judging**: 11:15 to 11:30
Round One Pairings Announced: 11:30
ROUND ONE: 11:45 to 2:00
Break: 2:00 to 2:30
Round Two pairings Announced: 2:30
ROUND TWO: 2:45 to 5:00
Break: 5:00 to 5:30
Round Three pairings Announced: 5:30
ROUND THREE: 5:45 to 8:00
Winners Announced: 8:15

*If you want your army to be considered for the painting portion than please ensure that you arrive at 11:00 and let me know. Your army must be 100% painted with at minimum 3 colors and completed basing.
**You the contestants will be judging painting as well as myself if a tie happens. I ask that people do not vote for your own army. If its that good it does not need your vote.


What I have also come to love is consistent rulings. Going forward I will be using a published FAQ known to some as the INAT FAQ. The link is as follows: http://www.adepticon.org/wpfiles/inat/INATFAQv4.0.pdf

I will also be using the most current FAQs available on the GW site. But please understand that if you have a disagreement during a round try to resolve between the players and if you reference something be ready to show that to your opponent.

We have had very few issues in the past but it will be awesome if everyone is on the same page.

Two days before the tournament is scheduled and we already have 16 folks signed up. We should have a great turn out on Sat. We still have 10 spots open so come one come all.
